Description

The Lewis County Family Support Center is a program under the Lewis County Family Resource Network. A corporation made up of community members who work together to better meet the needs of children and families in Lewis County. They facilitate communication, community conversations, and networking between their partners. 

The Family Support Center's programs include: Food Pantry, Backpack Buddies, Mobile Food Pantry, School Food Pantries, Healthy Grandfamilies, Welcome Home Baskets, Handle with Care, Imagination Library, Emergency Assistance Coordination, Homelessness Support, Hygiene Panty, Diaper Pantry, The Giving Wall, Resource Referrals, Car Seat Safety Checks, Play in the Park, Life Skills and Parenting Courses, Parent Resource Navigation, and Public Hygiene Carts. 

Their Annual Events include but are not limited to: Community Baby Shower, Pinwheels for Prevention, Community Block Party, Mental Health Awareness Month, Save a Life Day, Volunteering with World Vision, Resource Sharing, Melanoma Awareness, Drug Take Back Day, Safety Fairs, Senior Prescription Safety Training, Sunscreen Dispensers to county parks, Red Ribbon Week, Roll and Read, Pop-up Kid's Farmers Market, Adulting 101 with high school students, Baby and Me, Prevention Day at the Capitol, Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon, and Halloween Safety Fair. 

Join us to help celebrate the new location of this essential organization in our community. There will be an ice cream social along with a tour of the new facility after the ribbon cutting.
