Ribbon Cutting - Weston Cultural Center's StoryWalk Program

Description

The Weston Cultural Center, with the help of funds from the Lewis County Community Foundation and the Larry and Margaret Brown Advised Fund, and in partnership with Lewis County Blueprint Community is beginning a new community program to develop and maintain four StoryWalk sites around Lewis County. The sites will feature four signs each and be used year-round to display various art forms by artists from Lewis County and beyond.

This new program will provide a new and vibrant way for visitors and residents to interact with art and culture as provided by everyone from their neighbors to strangers from across the globe. While they are referred to as StoryWalk signs, they are so much more! Each program can be tailored to the interest of the community and exhibits can be easily and quickly changed out for seasons, holidays and special interests or events. Be looking for your opportunity to be featured as a guest artist on upcoming exhibits. 

Light refreshments will be served. This event will take place after the Weston 5K and during the Weston Carp Festival.
